What does a garage floor coating cost in Austin?

Who we are, plainly
We are not a coating company. We do not install anything, we do not visit properties, and nobody will turn up at your house. This site is a cost calculator, built so you can walk into a conversation with an installer already knowing roughly what the job should cost.
We are in a closed beta, and we are not matching homeowners with installers yet. There is an optional form at the end where you can leave your details. Today those details are stored and go no further — no contractor receives them, and we do not email or text you. If you need the work done now, contact installers directly rather than waiting on us.
The calculator is new and we are still checking it against real local pricing. Treat the numbers as a starting point for your own research, not as a settled answer.
How the estimate is built
- Square footage, from a typical size you can correct or your own measurements.
- The finish you want, described in plain language rather than trade chemistry.
- Floor condition and any existing coating, which drive how much preparation is needed.
- Current Austin-area rates, kept in one place and versioned so an estimate can always be reproduced exactly as it was shown.
Answering “not sure” is fine. Unknown answers widen the range rather than quietly assuming the cheapest case.
Where this covers
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Pflugerville, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Buda and Kyle.
Austin ZIP coverage is checked against the City of Austin open-data ZIP boundary dataset. Surrounding metro ZIPs are supported but not yet independently verified — you will still get an estimate, and we will say so.
