Would you buy an exclusive Austin garage floor lead?
We are trying to find out. This page is a question, not a signup — there is nothing to pay, nothing to install, and no card to enter.
What we built
CostPreview is a new site that gives homeowners a planning estimate for home projects. So far it does exactly one thing: a garage floor coating cost calculator for Austin. Homeowners answer six questions about their garage and get a real price range, free, without giving an email address. Some of them then ask to be put in touch with an installer.
Nothing is running yet. We have not sent a single lead to a single contractor. There is no network, no volume, no close rate, and no track record to show you. CostPreview is a beta, and this page is the part where we find out whether the idea is worth anything to the people who would pay for it.
What a lead would look like
- ZIP code and city
- Garage size, or their own measurements
- Floor condition — cracking, pitting, oil staining
- Existing coating, if any
- The finish they asked about, and their timeline
- The planning estimate we showed them, so you know their expectation
You would see all of that before deciding. Name, email and phone are released only if you accept.
The idea we are testing
- One accepted lead goes to one contractor. Not sold to four of you.
- Roughly $35 per lead you accept. Declining is free and is not held against you.
- No subscription, no signup fee, no minimum.
- Credit if the lead is objectively junk — dead contact, duplicate, outside your area.
- No credit because the homeowner went quiet. We cannot make anyone answer the phone.
- Pause any time. Volume could be zero.
What answering this does and does not do
- It does not create a bill. Telling us what you think costs nothing now and costs nothing later. There is no invoice attached to this page.
- No card, no bank details, no account. We do not ask for payment details here and there is nothing to set up.
- It is not an agreement to buy anything. If we ever do offer you a lead, that will be a separate conversation with a price in it, and you can say no then.
- You can decline later, for any reason or none. Saying “yes, I would look” today does not oblige you to look tomorrow.
- We do not guarantee jobs, enquiries, or that anyone will hire you. We have no idea yet whether this produces anything at all.
- One email at most, and only about this. No newsletter, no drip sequence, no passing your details to anyone else. Ask us to stop and we stop.
